Intro to Architectural Engineering

FUTURE SKILLS:
What exactly is an Architectural Engineer? In my own personal opinion I think that an Architectural Engineer is the person responsible for making all of a buildings many systems work effectively with each other and other surrounding elements. These systems may include, but are not limited to, Fire Protection, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural, Mechanical, etc.
By the end of this course I hope to have a better understanding of what exactly the role of the Architectural Engineer is. I also hope to gain at least a basic knowledge of all of the different systems associated with Architectural Engineers and how they relate to one another.
The part of this course that should be easiest for me will probably be any work making drawings, as I have had some experience with this in the past. Also, some basic knowledge about some to the AE systems and the construction industry, should be easier to grasp because of my recent co-op experience. I expect to have greater difficulties with work involving electrical, and mechanical systems.
