YMF Philly Scavenger Hunt (11.05.2006)

The ASCE Philadelphia Section and the Section's Younger Members Forum (YMF) held a scavenger hunt throughout the Center City, starting at the Visitors Center and ending at Buffalo Billiards. Teams of students from area colleges searched for items prepared by the members of the YMF. At the completion of the hunt the teams we provided free food and pool tables. The "Grand Prize Winners", The Drexel Men, won with 22 out of the 23 clues.

ASCE Philadelphia Section, Dinner Meeting (11.02.2006)

The Philadelphia Section of the ASCE held their monthly dinner meeting at the Union League Building in Center City. Drexel University was the honored guest school this month. The subject of this meeting was an Update on the transportation Funding Reform Commission, with the speaker being Karen J. Rae, Deputy Secretary for Local and Area Transportation, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
First Student Chapter Meeting (10.04.2006)

We will be conducting our first meeting of the 2006-2007 school year on Wednesday, October 4th, 2006 at 6:00pm in the Woodring Labs. Topics covered will include:

Introducing new officers
Introducing advisors
Concrete canoe project (presented by concrete canoe committee heads)
Steel bridge project (presented by steel bridge committee heads)
Distribute ASCE membership info
Distribute AEI membership info
