The low viscosity of Paratherm HE® (High Efficiency) high flash & fire point heat transfer fluid can save users from 17% to 42% on required pump horsepower. High film coefficients permit reduced heat transfer surface area at the user. The HE Fluid is rated for demanding service to 600ºF, and provides the highest flash & fire points of any high-temperature heat transfer fluid. It is thermally stable, not toxic, and safely and easily disposed.

Since 1971, Radco Industries has focused on one line of business - providing heat transfer fluid solutions engineered to enhance high-temperature processing. Our goal is to help you transfer BTUs- efficiently, cost-effectively and safely. That's why we focus all of our energy on bringing you the best thermal fluids in the business - via our XCELTHERM® product line.

The XCELTHERM family of liquid and vapor phase Heat Transfer Fluids is composed of synthetic and petroleum-based products with operating temperatures from -80 to 750º F. Each product is engineered to offer superior heat transfer efficiency and optimal thermal stability throughout it's temperature range.
Radco conservatively defines the maximum bulk fluid operating temperatures of XCELTHERM transfer fluids. In a properly designed system this means that XCELTHERM fluids may be operated at their maximum use temperatures without excessive thermal degradation.

Determine which XCELTHERM fluids would be suitable for your application by using the system maximum bulk fluid operating temperature to select from the products profiled below:
XCELTHERM 500

Heating/cooling applications operating from  -80 to 500º F. Meets FDA and former USDA criteria for incidental food contact.

XCELTHERM 550

Heat Transfer Fluids for Active Solar Systems
http://www.eren.doe.gov/consumerinfo/refbriefs/ba2.html
Heat transfer fluids carry heat from solar heat collectors to the heat storage tanks in solar heating and cooling systems. The fluids most commonly used are water, propylene glycol, ethylene glycol, and air. Less common fluids are synthetic hydrocarbons, paraffin hydrocarbons, aromatic refined mineral oils, silicones, and refrigerants.

Galden Heat Transfer Fluids are perfluoronated compounds which have the following physical and chemical properties;

* excellent compatibility with metals,plastics, and elastomers.
* high oxidative and thermal resistance
* non-toxic, non-ozone depleting
* No flash or fire point
* Excellent dielectric properties
* Low pour point and water solubility
* Relatively low viscosity
* Complete absence of hydrogen

Galden HT is a line of 11 different dielectric fluids with boiling points ranging from 70-270ºC.  Galden HT fluids were developed to meet the increasingly demanding and diversified needs of the following industries;

* Electronic
* Electrical
* Nuclear
* Chemical
* Pharmaceutical
* Aerospace

These fluids provide effective heat transfer both in direct and indirect cooling applications.  Direct immersion cooling provides for more effective heat removal and therefore helps to keep the component's temperatures constant.  As a result, the failure rate is lower and the package size can be minimized.
The relative low viscosity of the Galden fluids and their wide operating temperature range permit them to act as heat transfer liquids in extreme conditions.
