Beta Version:

Our Beta Version is online because it would be extremely hard to have a group learn web services and deploy the system within a week. Also some of the code is proprietary software that will not be disclosed. As a result: REPortal2 Beta

Migration of a Portal for Reverse Engineering Tools to a Service Oriented Architecture:

REportal is an existing reverse engineering portal that is available at http://reportal.cs.drexel.edu . It provides a web interface to a heterogeneous suite of RE tools. The new iteration of REportal will be based on loosely coupled services to provide an abstract report or representation of a software system based on user parameters. These parameters will be matched against service semantics to properly select services in the proper order, bind to them and execute. The project will involve wrapping the legacy assets and creating a tool to specify and automate the workflow (RE steps) that are supported by REportal. One of our goals is to create an automated service dispatcher that will select and bind to the various services on the fly at run time. Another possible goal is to automate the transformation of legacy RE tools into SoA components.
