Wei Sun

Wei Sun is currently appointed as Albert Soffa Chair Professor of
Mechanical Engineering, with an affiliated appointment at the School of Biomedical
Engineering, Science, and Health Systems at Drexel University.
His areas of research include Computer-Aided
Tissue Engineering, Biomanufacturing and Bioprinting, CAD/CAM and Solid
Freeform Fabrication. He has published over 200 technical articles, 10 patents issued and pending, and has conducted over
100 invited national and international presentations. He is currently serving
as Chair of the Biomanufacturing Technical Committee in Manufacturing
Engineering Division, American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME). He
also currently serves as Editor-in-Chief for international journal of Biofabrication,
and serves as Section Editor for Tissue Engineering for Journal of American
Society for Artificial Internal Organs (ASAIO), the Members of Editorial Board
for Rapid Prototyping Journal, Journal of Virtual and Physical Prototyping,
Recent Patent in Engineering, Journal of Computer-Aided Design & Application
(CAD&A), and International Journal of Service Operations & Informatics
(IJSOI).
