| Olin Workshop
on Water Quality
Purpose
of the Workshop
Management of water quality is becoming an increasingly
urgent issue as populations and economies grow. The interconnectedness
of problems of water treatment, surface water quality, and wastewater
treatment and disposal are becoming more clear. New technologies and
management structures are emerging to cope with these challenges.
The objective of this workshop was to present the entire scope of
the water quality protection issue to attendees. Presenters from academia,
utilties and consultants provided their insights into problems of
drinking water treatment, wastewater management, regulation, and reuse.
