Hello, and welcome to my rattery, Whisker Kiss'in! My name is Emily, and I'm located in Manchester Connecticut . Animals have always had a special place in my heart, and I treat them more as kids than pets. I have always kept a small animal of some kind, but have only recently found the joys of rat ownership. My first two girls are: RBR Meniscus, and RBR Applejack are of RooBear Rattery in Maryland. They have amazingly sweet dispositions and are fairly mellow for girls. They have great health and meniscus was the start to my breeding progam. Her outstanding personality and sweet looks made her a caniate for breeding that I look for.
My goal as a breeder is to educate people to the joys of responsible rat ownership. I have joined a few different forums and clubs and know that no one knows everything, and you can always learn something new. To me that is a joy of owning a pet. There is something new every day!
I will be focusing my breeding program on different shades of blue: American, Russian, Dove, as well as rex and possibly double rex. First and foremost I will breed for health and tempermant. Any rats that are breeding potentials with signs of health problems will not be bred. I hope you enjoy a visit and my "kids" website;)
8-22-06 We have had our succesful second litter at Whisker Kissin! Micah had eight beautiful babies on 7- 19-06. One baby did not make it. The other seven are thriving and almost ready for new homes!!!
We also have a few older rats up for adoption if interested. Wallaroo, is an adorable four month old doe who was a petstore rescue. After only a week of handling she had already started coming around, and now after four months she is as sweet as pie. She is a russian blue rex self. Ask for Pictures If Interested! I also have a few males that are looking for good homes.
Whisker Kissin Is a small rattery and only breeds once or twice a year. If you are looking for pups, please expect to wait. I breed for quality not quantity!
4-17-06 The last breeding planned did not take before the set date. It had been somewhat limited due to our big move! Now that we are settled back in CT, I am making plans to have a second litter. I am not sure which pair will be placed but updates will be posted as soon as I can decide.

1-13-05 Currently we have a breeding between two of my rats, Micah and ANR Logan of WKR. We will be expecting american blue, russian blue, and maybe some other colors. 11-4-05 Our newest addition from andover rattery has been home since september and is settled in wonderfully! His name is Logan, and he and his new brother Tristian are the best of buddies. We hope to see great things from him, as he is shaping up to have a very handsome face:) Check him out on my ratties page.
8-4-05 UPDATE: Meniscus had her pups! They were born on two different days, due to complications. They are all doing wonderfully and mom has recovered very nicely. We thought we were going to loose them all, so due to these complications I shall not be breeding Meniscus again. Hopefully, we shall see great things from her son, who will be staying here with us. I just know her great personality will show up in these kids!

We are trying our first pairing in hopes of a litter of baby blues! We are pairing our girl RBR Meniscus a lovely blue agouti dumbo rex, to RBR Bongo. A handsome American blue verigated boy owned by Rachael of Roobear Rattery. We hope to get both the great personalities of the parents as well as some neat colors and patterns.
