Principal Investigator of Louisiana’s compliance with the Synar Amendment: Preventing Youth Access to Tobacco

Principal Investigator of Louisiana Tobacco Cessation Program (TCP), a behavioral intervention offered to all clients in state substance abuse facilities who are using tobacco products.

Collaborating with Danya International, Inc. on the NIAAA-funded evaluation of Kidsdom, an Internet-based alcohol prevention curriculum designed for elementary school children.

Advisory Board Member for a National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) project to develop a Website to support new and minority drug abuse researchers

Research mentor with the NIDA-funded Drug Abuse Research Technical Assistance Project, and leader of the annual Research Proposal Development Workshop for the NIDA Minority Research Center at Boston University.

One of six scientists interviewed for "Brain Power", a NIDA documentary film for the national Junior Scientist Program.
