The lab is in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at Drexel University College of Medicine on the 8th floor of the New College Building. Our research programme has two major emphases: the development of new photochemical tools to study the physiology of living cells, and the application of these tools to the study of neuronal plasticity. We use a variety of methods, including organic synthesis, flash photolysis, and two-photon imaging.
